2PM is a seven-member boy band from Seoul, South Korea. They are managed by Park Jin-Young of JYP Entertainment. The members are Jaebeom, Nichkhun, Junsu, Taecyeon, Junho, Wooyoung, and Chansung. 2PM is one of the two subgroups branched out from the eleven-member boy band One Day, the other being 2AM. They debuted with the song "10 out of 10" which showcased their mix of acrobatic and b-boy dance style.

The 2PM members all auditioned to become part of JYP Entertainment, where the Wonder Girls also belong to. Some members, including Jaebeom who auditioned in USA, auditioned from other countries. Their training days are filmed on a documentary called Hot Blood Men that aired on Mnet, along with the members of 2AM. The show documented the rigorous training program of JYP trainees as well as the elimination of three of trainees from the group.

They are all trained in dancing, acrobatics and singing.They debuted with their song "10 Out Of 10" on September 4, 2008. Then on October 17, 2008, they started to promote "Only You" another song from their debut mini album "Hottest Time of the Day."

On April 16, 2009, they released their 2nd album "2:00 PM Time For Change". Promotions began April 23 on M!Countdown, performing an introductory dance to "What Time Is It Now" leading up to the title single "Again & Again". Exactly two weeks into their 2nd album promotions on the same program, they won their first Mutizen Song award since debut on May 9, 2009. In the same week, they won their second Mutizen on SBS Inkigayo.

The group was first mentioned by the press in late 2008, when rumours were spreading that YG was creating a female version of Big Bang named Sista. In response to those rumours, YG Entertainment President Yang Hyun Suk stated that the name was not chosen yet.In January 2009, it was announced that the "Female Big Bang" would debut around July 2009 with three members — CL, Minji, and Bom.Later that month, YG stated that Sandara Park joined the group, with one more member to follow.In the end, YG Entertainment announced that the group would consist of four members and debut sometime in May 2009.The company stated that the group had trained for 4 years, and that their debut album would contain songs produced by G-Dragon.The group's name was initially announced as "21"; however, due to the discovery of a singer with the same name, the group was quickly renamed "2NE1

Hebe Tien was encouraged to participate in the show 'Cruel Stage' by its workers. During the first round, her voice started breaking while singing 'Return Home'. Hebe decided to sing a song with a lower key in the final round.

However, because she was unfamiliar with that song, which happens to be Singaporean singer Kit Chan's "Loving You" or "Xi Huan Ni" (???), she forgot about ten seconds worth of lyrics in the finals, messing up her performance.

Nonetheless, the manager appreciated her straight personality and powerful vocals. Therefore, Hebe became part of S.H.E, and along with Selina Ren and Ella Chen, were signed under the Taiwanese record label HIM International Music.

Super Junior (Korean: 슈퍼주니어; often stylized SUPERJUNIOR), also known as simply SJ or Suju (Korean: 슈주), is a thirteen-member Korean boy band formed by SM Entertainment in 2005, masterminded by Lee Soo Man. The group initially debuted with twelve members on November 6, 2005 with the single, "TWINS (Knock Out)". The original twelve members, from oldest to youngest, are Leeteuk (the leader), Heechul, Han Geng, Yesung, Kang-in, Shindong, Sungmin, Eunhyuk, Donghae, Siwon, Ryeowook, and Kibum. The Chinese member, Han Geng, was chosen among the 3,000 applicants through auditions held in China by SM Entertainment in 2001.

Many of the members had already pursued an entertainment career before Super Junior's debut through acting, DJ-ing, and modeling. On May 23, 2006 SM Entertainment announced the addition of a new member, Kyuhyun, making them the thirteen-member group they are today.
